CS 01 The School at the Chalet Centenary Edition

1925 saw the original publication of The School at the Châlet, the first book in what was to become the Chalet School series of 58 books + five extras. At no time since then has a Chalet School book not been in print, and The School at the Châlet has been printed in many different editions, as the Publishing History  details.

  Now, we publish a Centenary Edition which will include:

• The complete and unabridged text
• A short story by Helen Barber which will cover that earlier visit by the Bettanys to Briseau am Tiernsee
• An up to date article on the Achensee by Sally Dore and Katherine Bruce with maps and illustrations
• The Publishing History

The Centenary Edition of The School at the Châlet will be published in August.
